The Horizon.

I look at the horizon,
Far stretched and wide.
I wonder what beauties,
It were to hide.
I look at the horizon,
The union of land and sky.
I wonder what avenues unexplored, lie?
I look at the horizon,
Hazy, yet clear.
I wonder if I am, yet another step near.
I look at the horizon,
As the sun descends with grace.
I wonder how long, I still have to chase.
I look at the horizon,
And wait.
As twilight encompasses, and so does my fate.
