Who Would Ever Know?

Eyes so beautifully
Lined with Kohl.
Who would ever know?
The tragedy of her soul.
Her frame so slender,
With curves and edges,
Who would ever know?
The story behind her sketches.
Movements so delicate,
Sequined with grace,
Who would ever know?
That thorns she held in embrace.
Her words so carefully,
Strung with care,
Who would ever know?
The pain she had to bear.
Her thoughts so chosen,
Their expression confined.
Who would ever know?
The turbulence in her mind.
