The Beginning of the End.

She grew up among the trees, under the care of Mother Nature. The forest was her home, the trees, her protectors.  Beneath their canopies she rested and played, and under their watchful eye she wandered.
The huge Cedar tree near her house was her favorite. She had seen it grow, from a tender plantlet, to a young and strong tree, and now, to a old and wise tree.
She was old, and so was he. She saw him every day from her room window, and thought about the memories he had weaved for her.
Soon, her health began to deteriorate.
And as though mourning for her, the tree began to shed leaves.

It was the beginning of the end.
