The Show.

Among the dark blood-stained walls, arises a scream, goes unheard. The curtains are raised, the stage is set. Scene by scene, word by word, the drama now unfolds. As predicted, as foreseen, every moment foretold. The audience was glued, yet oblivious, to the hypnotizing trance it was set in. A swift swerve, a smooth move; A flawless kill. Never to be discovered, Never to be unearthed, the secret of the heinous crime.

Ecstasy.

Drenched in the sweet fragrance of bliss My mind occupied by undeniable happiness. Despite the frost all around A blazing spark ignites within No wonder, the world seems purer now Its tainted facets now ignored. No wonder, people seem peaceful now Their raging natures now ignored. Is this how it feels, ecstasy? When words and thoughts  Are not filtered And flow like untamed rivers Merging into the titanic world Of expression Truthful, and naked. Is this how it feels?

Sealed With Love.

The incantation of the monosyllable Om reverberated through the room, as my Godfather sat in the far end, meditating peacefully. It was a bright Sunday. He was a Yoga teacher, so Sundays meant more Yoga classes. I tiptoed to the corner of the room, only to be stopped by one of his ‘guards’. “He has warned us against any disturbance. You can’t go in, child.” He said, in a pitiful tone. “Oh, fine.” I sighed, even though this was what I expected. Nevertheless, I decided to wait for him in the lounge. After an hour, which seemed more like hours, he entered the room, a grin plastered on his face. “Good morning!” he said, enthusiastically. “Morning.” “Why so grim? Breakup or something?” he said, with a boyish mirth to his voice. Tall, dark, and handsome; It looked as though this was said keeping him in mind. Nobody, even in their dreams, could predict his age. He had the physique of a 21-year-old, and the intellect of a 65-year-old. Though, his age was nowhere near to that. He ...

You and I.

You and I, Little specks of love, In this behemothic universe. You and I, Vaguely ceaseless, In this transient world. You and I, Our names etched forever. In the inscriptions of ageless love. You and I, Like the rivers and the ocean, Unlearning our identities, And merging into one. You and I, Like the missing pieces of a jigsaw, Coming together to complete the frame. You and I, Together forever, Cradled in the warmth of our love.

That's Where I Want To Be.

Basking in the sun’s glory, With waves tickling my feet, Yes, that’s where I want to be. All my regrets ebbing away, Happiness filling all voids, Yes, that’s where I want to be. Where every raindrop tells a tale, And every rainbow brings joy, Yes, that’s where I want to be. Where bliss is eternal, And worries ephemeral, Yes, that’s where I want to be. Where words are coated, With honesty and love, Where truth prevails, Even as darkness falls. Take me there. For that’s where I want to be.

Stains on Humanity.

The moon shone with a bloody glow, And streams of blood trickled below. The horrifying screams were deafened by the silence. No one would ever know the greed and violence. The streets would live on, evade time. Keep with them the secret of the stealthy crime. Humanity was challenged, trust was broken. Times were changing, and lust was the token.

Who Would Ever Know?

Eyes so beautifully Lined with Kohl. Who would ever know? The tragedy of her soul. Her frame so slender, With curves and edges, Who would ever know? The story behind her sketches. Movements so delicate, Sequined with grace, Who would ever know? That thorns she held in embrace. Her words so carefully, Strung with care, Who would ever know? The pain she had to bear. Her thoughts so chosen, Their expression confined. Who would ever know? The turbulence in her mind.
