Yes, fiction does have the ability to change someone’s life. For the greater good. Some time ago, I was just any other teen, who had problems with life and school. I used to crib about it, a lot. And then, I read Harry Potter. And by far, that’s the best thing I’ve done all my life. It changed me completely. It changed my perspective of seeing things. It changed my perspective of seeing people. Earlier, the sunrise and sunset weren’t of much importance. But now they convey a whole different meaning. Earlier, best friends were just best friends, now they’re life. Earlier, school was just about studying and studying; now it’s about inspirational teachers. Earlier, introverts were awkward; now, they’re the best of people. Earlier, Harry Potter was just another series, now; it’s a way of life. I don’t feel lonely anymore, for I have the whole lot of witches and wizards by my side. Be it anything, I can count upon Lupin, Sirius, Dumbledore, and all the others for words of wisdom...
It leaves a mark, you know, that crisp brevity of yours! Amazing! I am running out of superlatives here! Of all, this one's is my favorite. Write away, girl! Just write away!
