I steady myself
As the winds sighs to me
An ode from you.

It whispers to me
your words of love
as I wistfully stare
at the tranquil sky

the clouds enshroud
the homeward sun
as silhouettes silently
slide on
the landscape

I hang on to your words
to each note, to each pause
and even to those trifling sighs
I entitle myself
To be devoured by your words
As my conscience leisurely frays.

Yes, fiction does have the ability to change someone’s life. For the greater good. Some time ago, I was just any other teen, who had problems with life and school. I used to crib about it, a lot. And then, I read Harry Potter. And by far, that’s the best thing I’ve done all my life. It changed me completely. It changed my perspective of seeing things. It changed my perspective of seeing people. Earlier, the sunrise and sunset weren’t of much importance. But now they convey a whole different meaning. Earlier, best friends were just best friends, now they’re life. Earlier, school was just about studying and studying; now it’s about inspirational teachers.
